When we got to the main checkpoint for Nablus we were turned away by the IDF based on it "being too dangerous." So we were forced to take an alternate mountain route along what could only loosely be called a road; a "road" sitting on the edge of 1000 foot drop offs! This ride was the only time I felt any fear on my whole journey; partially because I would rather not die in vain... rolling off the edge of a cliff. But as frightening as it was the driver was very well prepared and had loads of experience for sure. We made it safe and sound but the next picture gives you an indication of my nerves.
